Summer is time for family outdoor activity and fun. Of course, as members of the family, our pets are usually included in our recreational planning. Let's face it. It just wouldn't be the same without them.

In order to make the most of this special time of year, its important to remember that our four-legged friends require some special considerations when it comes to getting through the heat of summer as comfortably as possible.

Outdoor Activity

Now that the weather is warmer you'll probably take your pet on more walks. Just be mindful that sidewalks and streets can become very hot.

You might want to set your walks for early morning and evening, when things have cooled off so that paws stay comfortable.
